See how big the world we live in, and now, simply ask yourself, did you ever dream of visiting every corner of the world in your lifetime?
After watching one of the must see movie Eat, Pray, Love, and experienced the bitter sweet with Elizabeth through her journey from the West to the East, one thing just bumped into my mind that "Do we live by traveling OR do we travel by living?" Most of us live an ordinary lives and travel during holidays or vacations for sure. We work hard for next trip out of the office and bustling life. We highly depend on traveling to slow down our paces, to give the so-called "routine" life a stimuli but most importantly, to give yourself an incentive to look for, to move on, and to rescue the capability to "hope" that you have lost for long.
I am a girl who is crazy about art, fashion, cuisine and romance so that you can tell how much Paris fits me. From the grand Palace of Versailles to the shrine of trendy fashion industry Champs Elysees, from another top 4 largest museum Musee du Louvre ,the tallest structure in Paris-- Eiffel Tower to the muse of the famed opera Hunchback of Notre Dame Cathedrale Notre-Dame de Paris or from the Arc de Triomphe that recorded the glory of Napoleon Empire to the Pont des Arts that served the eternal love and promises for countless couples, Paris amazes me from the very first moment that I arrived the city.
Two things I would love to highlight of Paris are the fashion industry and the wonderful French afternoon tea culture. Paris with other counterparts: New York and London have dominated the fashion industry for centuries; however, the names of the famous designer brands that pop up in your head within a second are definitely from France or started their business in Paris from Coco Chanel, Christian Dior to Hermes. Champs Elysees is the avenue that gathered those renowned brands.
The last but definitely certainly NOT the least is the French cuisine. The Michelin Guide is the most authoritative index grading restaurants around the world. As it was originated from France and as France has the most restaurants awarded with the highest honor-- Michelin Three Stars, it is not difficult to imagine how incredible the French cuisines can be. HERE! What I want to introduce is another must-try: French afternoon tea!!!
In the old time, people from the upper class loved to gather in so-called salon to discuss latest new and politics as well as enjoy a cup of nice tea or coffee with some delicious desserts. The history of the culture of having afternoon tea is deeply rooted in Paris, and the desserts I have tried are INDESCRIBABLY delicious!!! Be sure to try one before you leave the country!!!
If you are fancy by the mysterious Asian culture, you should definitely visit Middle East. But the best way to witness the natural beauty of Asia, and have a nice sunbathing on the boundaryless white sand beach, Malaysia and Thailand are places you won't wanna miss.
"Similan" is in Jawi word of muslim language, which means nine. The Islands consist of nine islands from north to south where is a popular holiday for tourists. These islands have beautiful scenery, fine powdery white sand beach and crystal clear water and see the fish and coral under the sea by your naked eye through a snorkeling mask. This is what makes the Similan Islands is one of the top ten most beautiful islands in the world where we should not miss.
If you would love to see the aesthetic feature of Asia, I will recommend Japan to you. Do you still remember the movie, Memories of a Geisha? Geisha represents the golden age of Japan's culture and art. Nowadays,Geiko and Maiko, or apprentice Geisha, are referred to female entertainers who wear elegant and intricate traditional dress. They entertain at elite ocha-ya, or "teahouses", where they sing, dance, and play traditional instruments to entertain their patrons.
Geiko and Maiko entertain in five small districts in Kyoto called "Kagai," which literally means "Flower Town.
No matter how you plan your own journey, and no matter where your next destination will be, what I believe is that in the journey of life, one should be a traveller not a tourist. It means that you will reflect yourself intensively and that you will hardly to forget what you really want and who you eager to be. You will cherish everything in your life because you know that there is always a lesson for you to learn. In this case, you are traveling for real in any time and at any place. You are well-prepared to feel, to experience, and to be moved in every single moment in your life, and that's the only way to make your journey a very unique one.
